Sledding
Adam took Gunnar for some indoor sledding to prep him for the real thing. He seemed to enjoy being surrounded by his toys during the ride, especially his dadda's slinky. Then dadda tried to add Hannibal to the mix and it was all over very quickly.
Kid Tested...Mother Approved!
I'm not sure what I was thinking letting him into the box of cereal. A full box of cereal, mind you. But he sure had some fun! That is, until he wound up with half a box of Kix stuck to the bottom of his feet! It was hilarious watching him pace around the living room with fistfulls of Kix. Everything he eats is now by the fistful. He has officially inherited the popcorn eating technique from his dad. He can successfully maneuver an entire fistful of food in his mouth without dropping one piece. I can already picture him as the kid in school who brags about how he can fit his fist (or foot!) in his mouth.

Mini Monet
Big News!
Yep, Gunnar is gonna be a big brother! We found out the day before Thanksgiving that we are expecting! We are due July 31st, and should find out the sex of the baby mid-March...very exciting!!
Note: I couldn't say anything before now because it would spoil the surprise for my parents...we wanted to tell them in person when they come next week for Gunnar's 1st birthday. I know my mom checks our blog often for updates of her only grandson, so I had to wait until they left California before I could post anything about the pregnancy here!

Gunnar's 1st Christmas!
Christmas was so much fun with Gunnar! Santa left out presents for him and he was so excited when he came down the hall from his room and saw them! Then he was only excited about unwrapping the first present or two, so we had to help with the other several hundred wrapped under the tree for him! Our house now officially looks like a Toys R Us, but he just loves all his new toys!

M&M's
Jackson
Adam had his work Christmas party one evening in Jackson, so we decided to go early and spend the day there as a family. Turns out it was too foggy to take the tram ride up the mountain, but we found plenty of other things to do! We cruised through the Ripley's museum and the downtown shops. We went to Town Square and saw the antler arches, which were absolutely gorgeous after dark! We even found ourselves another Santa, the third one this year! Jackson is a beautiful town and we thouroughly enjoyed ourselves. I was pretty bitter about not being able to snowboard though!
